As I wandered around the gorgeous mansion estate that was to be Cat and Bryan’s venue on the morning of their wedding, my heart felt strangely “at home.” Maybe it’s because I secretly pretend every beautiful house I walk into is my home, but it was more so due to the fun, carefree atmosphere that surrounding all of the vendors as we prepared for the event that was to come. As Cat and her bridesmaids laughed in the upstairs parlor with Chad Stokes, Bryan and his groomsmen relaxed by the outside pool, casually chatting about the day ahead.
Cat’s beautiful Stella York gown fit her beautifully, and as she looked one last time in the mirror before heading down the aisle, she took a deep breath and giggled to herself. Their ceremony was held on the lawn next to the Indian River as the sun began to set in the West; the greenery on the ceremony arch mingled beautifully with it’s surroundings to create the natural, romantic atmosphere that encompassed the couple as they became husband and wife. During the cocktail hour, guests laughed loudly to one another and took Polaroid pictures for the guest book while Tiffany Danielle Photography perfectly captured Cat and Bryan’s portraits.
As the sun began setting on the most perfect day, Cat and Bryan had their first dance on the brick patio near the pool before the real party began. Children changed into their bathing suits and swam in the pool while the adults mingled on the three patio levels, occasionally looking over the rails to watch those who danced on the dance floor. In the end, my feet were sore but my heart was full; I know I say this so often when I write about the weddings I get to be a part of, but I am so grateful that I get to witness such beautiful evenings as these.

Flowers By Susan created a beautiful floral arch piece that we later transitioned to Cat and Bryan’s sweetheart table. It was the perfect addition to an already beautiful tropical setting.
Cat’s bridesmaids wore this beautiful taupe collection from Show Me Your MuMu while Cat herself wore a sophisticated and flirty lace Stella York gown.
One of the greatest advantages of a riverside wedding is the access to water views and fun dockside photographs. Chad Stokes chose a pretty up-do for Cat’s hair so the wind on the river wouldn’t ruin it.
Fun was had all over the mansion as guests took silly Polaroids at the guest book table and danced freely by the pool under the market lights.
